If you have recently broken a tooth, then our dentists, Dr. Troy Sargent, Dr. Michel Haynie, encourage you to call our office and schedule an appointment. This is considered a dental emergency, and it’s important to get the tooth treated right away. If you can, bring the pieces of the tooth with you to your appointment. If we can’t put the tooth back together, there are other treatment options available, like:

-Dental bonding (Dental bonding is a simple treatment that involves your dentist reshaping the tooth with dental resin, which is a special material that is shaded to match the color of your smile. Your dentist will place it on the tooth, shape it, and harden it.)

-Dental veneers (Dental veneers are thin shells that cover the front surfaces of the teeth and hide their imperfections. In this case, your dentist will cement the shell over your tooth to make it look like it was never broken!)

-Dental crowns (Dental crowns are caps that fit perfectly over your teeth. Your dentist will craft a crown for your broken tooth and cement it into place once it and your tooth are ready. This will give you a whole and improved tooth.)
